I would love the ability to pay and request payment via link. I know most people use Apple Pay or Venmo, but it would be nice for Monzo to support everything directly.
This would be perfect for splitting bills. Other banks do something similar, but not in the US. You could pay for dinner for example, tap the split bill button, then everyone receives a link to pay their share. This way, even if they are not Monzo users they can still pay you.
OR, if you’re a freelancer you could easily send a payment request to someone instead of other third party methods.
