I can confirm I’m seeing the same message, even though I withdrew the money first thing this morning and the pot is empty.

They had to beat us over the head with it… :joy: Good enough for me though, my wife and I just took ours out!

The subscription team must have had a fun Back at Work Day 2.

I’ve just completed the 2025 challenge. I have £675.43 in the pot, including £7.50 interest.

The T&C’s say that to be eligible for the £10k prize draw, I must have £667.95, excluding interest, in the pot by the end of Day 365.

£675.43-£7.50=£667.93, unless I’m much mistaken. This apparently leaves me ineligible for the draw (and when I click on the draw, it says ‘keep going’, only I can’t keep going, as it’s the final day).

How is it possible that my 365 days of payments add up to 2p less than they should? Or has the interest shown been rounded up in the display, and I will in fact be eligible?

Tap into your interest. Is it showing interest paid today i.e. from the 1st Jan to today?

Thanks for the suggestion. The most recent interest it shows is for December, which was paid on 1 January. The total up to and including that point is £7.50.

What’s going on, Monzo?

Has your interest rate dropped to 0% - you should see a notification in your feed.

And did it tell you that your challenge had finished? Is there an option in your pot to catch up on payment - did you miss any vet early on just to be sure?

You’re definitely due additional interest though that would account for the difference

There’s a notification saying the interest is dropping to 0. No option to catch up, but I haven’t missed a day (bar two that I caught up on).

However, I’ve found where the problem is. Thanks for suggesting looking early on! My statement for April

shows that on 24 April, instead of £1.03 going in, £1.01 went in instead; a repeat of the amount that went in 2 days prior.

Can you sort this out this evening, please Monzo? I didn’t have control over the amount that went in (bar pausing it, which I didn’t), so this is a mistake on Monzo’s part.

Is it just me?

You’ll probably need to report that in app to support

What did Monzo say when you raised it via the help in the app?

Nothing yet. I messaged at about 20:15, but no one’s got back to me.

Really hoping they don’t leave it till after midnight and then say oops sorry, it can’t be fixed now. I just need them to move 2p into the pot!

I don’t know how they conduct the lucky draw, but I’d like to see monthly updates whenever this year’s lucky draws happen. A bit like Omaze’s announcement.

How do we know if those 10 monthly prizes last year actually happened and were awarded? I’d love to hear stories from the winners, what they did to their prizes, etc.

Right. Well, I did that last night but have had precisely no reply.

This is really unsettling!

Monzo is rarely ever quick for responding, so probably worth waiting to see what they say in due course.

Ah, okay. Thanks. They used to be super quick, but I haven’t spoken to them for a few years, and that’s clearly changed.

Got a reply. No news on my eligibility for the draw, but they’re looking into it and will get back to me.

I don’t expect to win the draw, but I’d be mightily cross if I wasn’t entered because of 2 pence error!
