Never played animal crossing however i’ve been blasting mario kart 8 and luigis mansion 3 and loving them.
Next game will be bowling which is only like £1.50 from the nintendo estore and once i’ve saved some money up ill buy brain training.
I’ve been playing this too, working my way through the cups on each CC for completion.

Luigis mansion 3 some levels are insanely difficult to figure out and have to refer to YouTube occasionally

Mario smash brothers is good two player
If you want a story game then luigis mansion 3 although it’s only two player on some levels
Human fall flat is really good
