It was a bit pants. The only game we were interested in was skyward sword the rest were definitely meh
My 16 year old wasn’t interested in the Zelda game, the 10 year old wants to preorder it and I just want the joycons
I was holding out hope that Silksong would be announced but that was never going to happen
The project triangle game practically bored the 3 of us to sleep
Looks like a fancy Final Fantasy Tictacs game. And now I’m wondering where I put my DS away last time I used it (which would be, uh, many years ago )
I was hoping for a little more from the Zelda 35th Anniversary, honestly. It wasn’t even mentioned once, so it wouldn’t surprise me if there’s a Zelda Direct some time next week for the actual anniversary.
A full price remaster of the weakest 3D Zelda doesn’t really cut it compared to Mario 3D All Stars IMO.
It turns out Wonder Woman is a teenage girl… Who knew
For £49.99 — no chance.
It does feel like they’re coasting to juice the most out of power insubstantial releases
I take it DC Super Hero girls is new for you?
It’s been a thing for a few years
I know it’s been on TV (I have up on TV years ago), but this is the first game AFAIK
For some reason I’m very excited for Mario Golf!
Sad there wasn’t any news regarding BOTW2 though
Yeah. Wow tbh. Arceus looks super exciting. 2022 could be a massive year with that and presumably BotW 2.
Really hope they have a slightly more powerful console to go with the games in 2022. Loved BotW but some scenes just needed better graphics.
Another update for Animal Crossing then - Hello Kitty characters and furniture.
As far as I can tell, the amiibo cards aren’t going to be sold here yet though.
Just got Ring Fit Adventure and Mario 3D All Stars. I’ve played the first few levels on Ring Fit and I’m really enjoying it!
Finally finished BOTW the other day and loved it so much. I need a break from it for a while but I’ll check out the DLC at some point.
Might be in the minority but I loved Skyward Sword the first time around on the Wii so I’ll definitely be picking up the re-release.
Is the DLC worth it anyone? seems a lot of it is retreading what is in the game already?
I’m actually not too sure what’s in it for the most part but the motorbike caught my eye. Cruising round Hyrule on that seems fun.
Interested to know what you think will improve through hardware. One of the things I was most impressed by was the art style, which pretty much took the need for high end hardware off the table (and I’m fairly confident will still look fantastic ten years from now).
The fact that the engine was clearly running at 30FPS gives me hope. The Pokemon animations were likely keyframed, where the animator only makes a fraction of the required frames, which gives the impression of “low FPS”. It’s pretty common when working toward something like a trailer which has a deadline.
If this rumour comes true this year about OLED and slightly more power then I’m going to be really happy. Article is from The Verge.
Ok so I am really starting to enjoy Ring Fit and even after just a couple of weeks of playing it 2-3 times a week I am noticing an improvement in my stamina. I played for 25 “move minutes” today and am feeling good, whereas the first time I played I was feeling pretty beat after 15 move minutes. I love the way new exercises and powers get unlocked every few levels, keeps things interesting!
I’m only looking forward to Pokemon Snap, ngl. I’ve been playing more PC lately.
Haven’t even gone back to Animal Crossing for Mario hype
I won’t be just yet but reviews have been great so will probs pick up some time over the next few months.
Gotta finish a few other things first
