Let me check out this Cora everyone is talking about

Did you have fun?

It couldn’t answer a single query. I will keep away again.

Really bad isn’t it. Then takes hours for any human to respond

Revolut really tops the AI chat responses. Monzo was painful and so slow, but that was months ago so it’s possibly changed.

I seen on Reddit you can even ask Rev AI to do you an poem.

Don’t forget to factor in the free monthly book through the premier book club! It is also nice not having foreign currency conversion fees on any of my NatWest spending now - I was in Brussels last week and just used my NatWest Black Credit for everything without even having to think about Euros.

I’ve been depositing £5k+ into my NatWest account on a monthly basis (from USD via Wise) for about 8.5 years now. Well, maybe closer to 8 years as it took a few months for me to get sick of paying Wells Fargo’s wire fees and realise there was a better option…

That’s a good reminder for me to look into how it works with kids… My wife is flying back to the states later this month and was planning on using the DragonPass lounge access (our premier account is joint so we both get all the benefits for one monthly fee) on both ends.

Hmm, £53 including the £5 booking fee then. Steeper than expected. I guess it is more useful for solo travel.

edit: £63 for my wife and kids to visit a lounge, as the £5 booking fee is per person… Meh.

Applied for a credit limit increase last week on my Travel Reward card - declined.

Noticed today in the app under credit cards it now said offer “ You’re highly likely to be accepted for a Purchase & Balance Transfer credit card. Enjoy 0% interest on purchases for up to 23 months and balance transfers for up to 21 months from account opening.”.

I don’t want another credit card with them as I already have 2…

Tried the credit limit increase again using exact same details - approved.

My balance transfer offers always seem to update on the 1st/2nd working day of each month. This month I’ve go 0% balance transfers for 21 months on my Travel Reward card but no offer on The NatWest Card. Last month it was the opposite.

Ironically received this morning for my second credit card with them, which I’ve had for years and never received a credit limit increase offer. :man_shrugging:

Anyone had issues with making virtual cards?

Been saying it’s pending for an hour now!

Does it not appear overnight? I seem to recall someone saying this recently.

Personally, I’ve not created one yet.

Someone said it took two working days?

Like debit cards, usually next working day or so.

Yes virtual cards aren’t instant with NatWest. The few I’ve created have generated overnight.

Goes back to a lick of paint over old systems.

Do we know when NatWest CC statements are generated? Is it a fixed date each month or is it based on the date you opened the account? I’m yet to receive my first one, so unsure.

Cora was useless when I asked.

It is based on the date you opened the account. You can change your due date as well which will shift the statement date. I changed my billing cycle to the 5th of the month shortly after I opened my black credit account, and my payment usually gets taken out on the 10th of each month.

Makes sense. Thanks :+1:

Finally able to add it!

NatWest I’m sorry but it doesn’t take 24 hours to make a virtual debit card
