It’s sad to hear people are avoiding human interactions? Why? This is actually a problem of increasing proportions among young people - no social skills. What better and easier way to improve social skills by using a human checkout so you can at least say hello to another human being?

It commonly brings a level stupidity into my day I do not have the time or effort for.

I feel rushed when packing my stuff or putting them back into the trolley. Worse in Lidl and Aldi that have small counters where the staff put items after scanning.
I will say hello when I find them in the aisles.
Most of the time it’s the customers asking the stupid questions 
“Where’s your quiche”. Right there…where there’s the big sign that says pies and quiche.
Or coleslaw. Got an entire fridge dedicated to the stuff, with a massive sign overhead, and it’s almost a guaranteed question evey week

Not when aisles are being re-arranged. There’s juice I usually get from Sainsbury’s, it had been moved to the pasta section.

Everytime I identify an alien fork without even looking at it when I put my hand in the drawer.
I get called weird as no one wants to answer how it came to the house but I can clearly tell it doesn’t belong.

If they don’t trust you to scan them, maybe their workers should scan for you
I get it, people steal. People strike all the time, why not the stores refusing to open until the government commits to actively dealing with retail theft and violence against their workers
What’s sad is that both social and digital skills have decreased. Technology became too good for this generation, so they never learnt how to do anything.
Similarly, it was so good at the start of their lives that they’ve never had to interact with anything but an iPad.
Me too, but I got used to it because I had to before self-checkout existed? Offering all of these options to avoid interaction doesn’t help people cope when that’s the issue to begin with
These are hit or miss. I went to Sofia before and it was really difficult to find the key even with instructions.

Does anyone have any investment accounts with NatWest?
I’m looking at opening a S&S ISA with them, but I can’t see any examples of what that looks like within the mobile banking app, or even if it’s shown in mobile banking at all (I suspect only via online banking).
Can anyone shed any light?

NatWest having issues this morning.
My credit cards aren’t showing at all in the app.

Mine was the same yesterday and it’s reappeared this morning but the balance is wrong
