Got mine also
Same here
Turns out my children’s savings accounts are in trust, so they don’t get it, but my own current account (which I think I may have only opened for a switching bribe in the first place) has turned out to be eligible, which was a nice surprise.
I will take the advice my gran gave me whenever she gave me spending money, and ‘fritter it wisely’
Nationwide app has had an update. I do like the update personally. Just looks a bit smarter imo and the blue they are using for the navigation is very nice
This looks much smarter.
Also if you goto search in the current account and click the dates there are now range options in a drop down.
Still no view pin in app yet
Doesn’t it just. I actually think I’d come across to Nationwide if the App was just a little more featured.
Yeah it’s on first direct sort of level of “does the basics of online banking and not much else”. I only use it for being paid and making 3 payments out every month. But it has a nice enough user journey for making payments, and a push notification to log into full online banking which I like.
Now if it just had notifications I’d be a happy man
I’ve just downloaded the update, only to find Nationwide are having technical problems when it tries to connect..
Force close the app and open it again. That is a usual occurrence with their app when they “log you out” if you leave it for some time and just come back to it.
Yeah that’s just their poor error handling.
I bet the rest of the staff won’t be getting a 43% pay rise, it feels a bit tone deaf considering they’re a building society and that’s a massive rise.
Wonder why they bother asking members to vote on it if they’ve already decided it’s going ahead anyway.
Going through the motions
To be fair, with the cost of living crisis she needs a decent pay rise. I’ve noticed that food prices at supermarkets are getting ridiculous - I used to be able to buy two lots of 4-pints of milk at my local co-op for £2.50 (if I used my clubcard) but not now, they’ve taken that away.
So good for her.
With £3.46m I think she can afford a few pints of milk. We really need to stop this gravy train for the CEO’s there is no reason why 1 person should be paid so much.
