Doesn’t need to be worldwide. Three weeks in Malta was over £300 for us a few years back and FlexPlus is still cheaper plus you get breakdown cover and mobile cover as well.

Not noticed this before. The app now allows you to choose a Monzo-ish image for a savings goal (this is on a Regular Saver):
You then get a goal screen like this:

Has anyone managed to get one of these cute little savings wallets they offer?
I’m interested in getting one but it appears that they’re currently only for customers transitioning from passbook accounts… perhaps that’s something that’ll change once passbook support ends next spring.

My youngest son still has a passbook account (until he’s old enough to get a FlexOne Saver). Might try it on.
If I received a quid every time I saw one of these posts, I would have earned more than the interest I received from the Nationwide’s 8% regular saver being discussed this time!!

If only regular savings providers gave detailed representative breakdowns of how much interest could be obtained if the account is topped up fully each month…

I’d go for a quid every time the query of the interest is itself queried
New FlexDirect customers now get 1% cashback (up to £5/month) for a year.
Cash like transactions are excluded.
There’s also a £175 switch incentive starting today for new and existing customers.

Only account I could really switch over is Monzo. Tempted if it certainly includes existing customers.

Amazingly I’ve never had an incentive from Nationwide despite being a customer for 15 years.
I’ve had a few nationwide switching incentives even if I didn’t meet the criteria of not having one before after a certain date. Pondering if I should try again

For the switch incentive - yes
For the debit card cashback incentive - no.
