The name thing really annoys me it’s been an issue for years. Do you think a complaint about it would go anywhere?

I’ve complained to Nationwide about this two or three times over the years, but they don’t seem bothered about changing it. The last time I complained I can’t even remember them replying.

Agree, if you are some kind of dopamine starved Gen Z then Monzo is right up your alley, all you need is some loot boxes and their app will be complete.

I prefer simplicity and not having stuff shoved in your face all the time. I like the nationwide app home screen plus Santander

I love simplicity, probably why Monzo and Revolut don’t cut it for me.

Kroo closed my account because I haven’t used it since opening it lol

Nationwide credit cards are also FX free now, aren’t they? Probably a sweetener so you don’t cancel it post-transfer/purchase offer.

I’ve been tempted by it, but the Lloyds Ultra or whatever Revolut offer will probably fill that gap. If not, then Chase? Unless AmEx decide to drop FX fees on UK cards.

They have been for some good years. This is my second one but I remember the first I had around 2021 was also fx free and I enjoyed it out there.

I really don’t get why they keep them up… it just means the card gets less usage from people :joy: but I’m sure there’s a reason.

Back then I think I had a Nationwide student account, so I was FX free on that

There are some Amex die hards who don’t care about the fees or think even other cards charge fees abroad.

Not too sure, I’m IOS. It’s in the manage card section for me, unless android hasn’t been updated yet :eyes:
