I was about to post the same thing. My friends in Germany love N26.

I’m hoping they’ll offer £ and € accounts in the UK

Haven’t had this email…

23rd sounds like it may be the date…

Edit: and there it is…

Oh that would be nice, then I’ll be able to compare it to Starling’s offering

Had this email too.

I’ve had it also.

Also had the email

I’ve had a UK N26 for a few months now! I deleted it because the listing of the transactions with other banks were so awful. Maybe worth a retry with an official launch.

I. Had. The. Email.

I’ve now found out I’m not special :persevere:

I have had the email and done the survey

How did you get on the pilot? Any more info / screenshots that you can share?

Unfortunately I don’t. I was testing when it was more of an aggregator, adding other banks etc. There was no bank account at that time.

It was very messy and not usable at that time, I went with Yolt and Emma and left the N26 preview.

Will be interesting to see if the N26 UK launch will include the aggregator aspect, I’m sure it will be more refined than what it was.

I suspect it’s completely different now

I’m a longtime Portuguese N26 user. Unfortunately N26 makes a huge mess out of timezones and while in app usually the time is correct to my location (Portugal), app notifications are in Germany’s timezones, and with their emails it varies.

So, as an example, I receive a notification at 8:00, that my phone marks as being from 8:00, while the text of the notification itself talks about a movement to my account at 9:00, then you go to the app and the movement shows up as being from 8:00, but if you access your account through the website it shows up as 9:00.

A huge mess…

I think this is relevant for UK users since we share the same timezone

That sounds more like tandem than n26. I was a customer of n26 when they started and were called number26, and there has never been an aggregator function as far as I’m aware.

Oops. I was wrong. I was actually testing Numbrs. A German fintech app recently launched in the U.K.

Easy mistake :grimacing: Sorry, N26.

With their recent survey, it looks like N26 is starting some initial moves towards the UK account.

I’m interested but heard mixed feedback on just how good it is. Fact is, Monzo and Starling have set the bar high now, and I’ll judge the German offering on that.

I use n26 for Euros, and I really don’t think Monzo have anything to worry about!

I think I signed up about a year go, possibly longer.
