My (almost) end of year Monzo review

I’ve been full Monzo since November 2018 and 2019 has been a year of innovation (and the odd hiccup)
What do I want from my bank ?
Security :+1::+1::+1:
Good customer service :+1::+1:
Ability to organise my finances better :+1::+1::+1:
Get paid earlier than I’m due to be paid :+1::+1::+1:
And all for free !
To sum up;in my opinion Monzo is work in progress. But it’s bloody good.
As I always say they cut the crap out of banking. :ok_hand:
Merry Christmas and a very Hapoy new year to everyone. :cocktail::cocktail::cocktail:

Too many :cocktail:s already? :rofl:

I think 2020 will be a lot tougher for Monzo. They desperately need to sort customer service out so that it people can depend on it.

The app needs a lot of work still imo and the chat system completely replaced.

They need to work out how to stay relevant too and give customers reason to use them rather than any other fintech or even legacy.

Agreed with most of what you’ve both said.

Customer service is the big one for 2020. And then tidying up lots of little things: international transfers, acceptance issues (been reading about lots of problems in India), merchant data :face_with_hand_over_mouth:
