I agree - likely this needs legal advice and to be discussed with directors at the next board meeting etc. I wouldn’t expect a snap decision and almost no one knows about this atm.
I do think, though, in the highly unlikely situation Monzo execs said no to the union and forced them to go down the statutory route it might become quite public and quite damaging to a small and growing company that has a pretty good ethical record thus far.
