Someone has made a spec ad (speculative advert they have written themselves for a portfolio). This isn’t a real world advert.

I’m probably being really thick but I don’t get it.
I thought that was a requirement for all banking ads 
Likewise, it wouldn’t make me think of Monzo at all, but credit to whoever put the effort in to create it

I’m not sure I get the joke thing but that aside, this is so cool. I’ve never seen someone make an ad about their bank for practice.

Technically it looks to be nicely shot. But it’s too slow, I got bored. And I’m not sure an abstract scenario is the best way to sell Monzo.
You know those mobile phone adverts where they show people using things on the phones (often with ‘sequences shortened’ in small print)? That’s probably more along the lines of how I’d approach a Monzo TV ad. That’s what strikes me as the important thing to get across. Showing how the app actually works.
