Just caught the ad on TV in between Corrie. Very good, funny and to the point.

Also to add to the thread, I am so very proud of the ads and just can’t stop smiling when I watch them, I think the people that worked on them absolutely smashed it and got all the things right with it

Have to admit that today I had an issue and spoke to THREE different guys in the space of a 10 minute conversation. Just felt really jarring and not a good experience.
The issue was sorted, but it didn’t sit right with me to have that many people conversing with me.
I long for the days of single issue chats too 
Well, something’s having an impact. 
It was only at the end of April that daily account openings first broke through the six thousand mark, and they’ve now hit seven thousand!
The one thing to note is that to count on that graph I believe they have to actually activate their card
So there might be a delay with the posting of cards
I thought that might be the case, which is why I phrased it the way I did. But something is indisputably having an impact!
If it is something else, it’ll be interesting to see the compounding impact of the ads.
It would be interesting to hear what Monzo what they think the driver might be.
I believe activating the ApplePay / GooglePay card counts also which you can do as soon as the account is open.
Ah that helps explain the sudden updtake then be interesting to see how it changes in a week or so when post arrives as well

The ads are excellent! Great character and feel. I am excited to see how this is reflected in new customers 
Interesting. So if that extra thousand activations yesterday was attributable only to those activating their Apple Pay / Google Pay cards, we can presumably expect a much larger uplift over the next couple of days.
Any guesses? It doesn’t seem out of the question that daily activations could exceed ten thousand - which would presumably make Monzo the fastest growing bank in the UK by some margin.
That was what I thought so will be exciting to see the results in roughly a weeks time - bank holiday weekend may affect post a little
I would imagine Tuesday night would be a big pick up as people came back from holidays etc.
