Ah, I generated most of mine on my iPad! I’ll have to try it on my Mac!
That would be a lovely addition! Thank you!

Which one is winning?
As an xbox gamer, it’s probably Playstation
I don’t actually store download data so I don’t know for sure, but based on screenshots people have shared it looks like PlayStation. I haven’t seen any with Xbox yet.
Great update, keep up the great work!
That’s look like a nice app!
What @N26throwaway and I were referring to though is the picker I use is the standard HTML color picker - on iOS this doesn’t have an option to enter a hex code but other platforms do.
Yeah, that’s why I ended up looking at this app. It alllows me to key in hex values, and various other options. It also support drag and drop of the colour into other apps
This is getting even better
Can you drag and drop into @rknightuk’s webapp colour picker?
Should be able to if I can get it split screen on the iPad. Making a batch of tarka daal right now but give me 15 and I’ll have a look.
His write up on the app is here:
Looks like it’s apps only, not web pages?
Key to making Pastel part of advanced workflows on iPad is supporting drag and drop. You can pick up any color from any palette and drop it inside another app,
I’ve just tested this on my iPad, and it works!
The app was free, and when I noted it was developed by the well respected Steven Troughton-Smith I downloaded it. Will be a useful addition to my remote dev toolbox. Thanks for sharing it!
Here’s a gif of me dragging and dropping a colour into @rknightuk’s webapp
I hadn’t realised Steve had released the Mac version of this too, will have to check that out now.
Yes, been following him on Twitter where he’s documented a lot of the app moves ready for macOS and ARM going forward.
I think you’ll all be very happy with the changes coming later this evening…
Okay folks, version 2.1 is now live:
Have at it: https://potimages.rknight.me/
Brilliant update!
Thanks so much! I think it was me that suggested the virtual card gradients too!
Ha, so it was. Well thanks for the ideas
