If my CS agent was right, then I’d agree - Although I have a feeling @tjvr is going to tell us all that I was given false information.
I doubt bias will have anything to do with it.
It seems more likely CS has just not been properly educated about the change.
It does raise the question how they are told about all the changes, the Monzo app changes so frequently I’m sure it’s a challenge to coordinate it so all COps have the same knowledge.

Either way, you’d expect CS to at least have a ‘cheat sheet’ for new features so they give accurate and consistent information. There is also an issue of guessing instead of asking for clarification if they’re unsure?

I’d not normally care too much, and I don’t blame the CS agent for not knowing as such (although he was read up on Monzo Plus, and there isn’t that much to learn).
It’s more… This is 50% of the current Monzo Plus offering (the other 50% being the card), I’ve disregarded the events/swag…
I would expect CS to know the very few details they’d need to know about Monzo Plus if I was being perfectly honest…

Our official guidance on this topic says:
Customers can request to update their Monzo.me link to anything they want as long as the name is:
- Not inappropriate (e.g. it cannot be ‘bestdealsfinance’)
- Not taken by someone else
- Not offensive
So, superman is totally fine.

For what it’s worth, we’ve recently introduced a dedicated support team which handle questions about new features like Monzo Plus, which should mean you get better information going forward.

We’re still working through the waiting list
If you’re still waiting to get access to Monzo Plus, sorry about that! We’ve been working through the waiting list fairly slowly.
At the beginning, we were selecting small numbers of people off the list at random. We did this to make sure that everything was working with a wide range of people.
We’re now working through the waiting list from the beginning (although we had a slight glitch on Tuesday which meant this didn’t work quite right!). Make sure you keep your app up-to-date, and we should get to you soon! 
As a reminder, here’s Jonas’ update from the new thread, late last week:
We still have some work to do before we can roll out Monzo Plus more widely. We’ll make it available to everyone as soon as we can, and we’ll update you once we have a clearer timeline.
