Issue with seeing 2 credit card accounts by the same provider
When trying to add 2 capital one credit card accounts to see within the app it will always remover the 1st one added when adding the second one.

Yeah, Capital One are known to have a problem as discussed elsewhere. It’s on them to fix it as far as we can tell.

I have to say - I find the fact that Open Banking will be a paid-only feature a bit disappointing, particularly considering that the other banks I use all have it for free. Seems a bit contrary to the very concept to me!

The concept is just about providing access. I don’t think the ability/permission to charge comes into that at all.

I agree with @Feathers
The idea behind Open Banking is to require account providers (banks, credit card companies, etc) to open up access to your data in a safe and secure manner (i.e. via open banking APIs).
What services are built on top of this framework and how 3rd party companies choose to charge for or funds the services is something different. I suspect the people who developed the concept of open banking are hoping for a variety of approaches from third party providers - a variety of different services and a variety of different business models.

I think this is the point, in its current implementation its hard to see whats being offered by monzo thats above what other banks are offering for free and therefore should be paid for.
I think if monzo can add the ability to categorise and include transactions from all my other accounts in a budget then ill line up to give my money but until then im firmly in the its not ready yet camp.

Agreed on that front.
I should also say that my experience of using Monzo for the past year and a bit has been fantastic - just that I had been somewhat expecting Open Banking to come to the platform for some time now, and I don’t really see the value-add for the rest of the features of Plus personally.
For what it’s worth, none of my bank accounts support an Open Banking front end so it’s something I’ve never seen beyond the old Connected Card feature here and the rather error-prone interface that Tandem used to provide.

I’m hoping someone can answer a quick question. So if you use a Plus account, and add external accounts, can these transactions then also be retrieved via the REST API?
Update today (Android) added the ability to reorder the connected accounts (similar to what we can do with Pots). This was one of my initial asks after signing up, so happy it’s been implemented.
Edit: this is wrong, ignore me - still happy it’s implemented

Reordering external accounts went live last week and isn’t directly linked to the app version, but I suspect that it was rolled out in batches as it took me a few days to get it after the initial finding by other users last week.

Sorry if this has already been covered elsewhere but is there theoretically the ability for Help to Buy ISAs to be included (in my case a Virgin Money cash one), or is it just not possible?
I’d love to be able to see that in app, along with Freetrade and Marcus

Not really. I mean, theoretically there is but it depends on the bank owning the ISA making the data available through Open Banking. But an ISA isn’t an account type that they need to do that for, you’re relying on their good will…

Yeah I won’t hold my breath then! I’d probably still sign up if I could see the other two though so fingers crossed (also not really holding my breath for that either tho to be honest…)

Is there any update on when NatWest will be up and running again for easy bank transfer? I know Monzo are discussing with them the issue.
