I’m also finding that editing and creating categories is a bit temperamental. Sometimes it asks for authentication then just goes back to my transaction screen and other times it closes the app saying ‘it stopped working’.
Might have to do a reinstall at some point if I’m the only one experiencing this 
I’ve made 17 so far and no problems with any of them
That’s what I’m doing too. There’s no way I have the time or patience to go back through all my transaction history and edit it all.
Especially when you edit a category, hit save and it takes you back to the top of your feed again - and not to the item you were editing.
That also seems to be a you thing

Yeah no issues for me either! I’ve created at least 20 categories and edited hundreds of transactions back years.
Also no issues creating a lot of categories!
By the way, editing back years is committment! I really want to do this but so far have only managed to dedicate the time to change this one month.
I’ve reinstalled, (after fishing out my magic emails from my spam folder) and all is good now. Thanks peeps! 
Haven’t got plus yet but it seems like it would be nice if it made it searchable, I.e. when you type pub it would bring up all the one’s with pints/wine glasses up

You can search for any of your custom categories once they’re created.
