Coin Jar
I would prefer to see the actual amount of a transaction with a single coin jar transfer entry for each day. If you are doing an expenses claim this would be easier to work with. Since views on this are split is it feasible to offer a choice for this facility, ie show (a) rolled into the transaction or (b) show as a one off daily summary?
Did I understand this to mean we’ll be able to exclude certain payments from the monthly total spend?
understand how you’re spending if you’re getting your salary paid straight in and paying bills, rent or mortgages out of your Monzo account.
Yes, there’ll be a toggle tab to include/exclude transactions. Can’t wait for the update!
I agree the new coin jar tidy-up maybe isn’t the best solution to a cluttered transaction listing.
If I spend £x.xx with a merchant then that is what should be shown.
I’d prefer the coin jar sweep had been an end-of-day process which went through each transaction and worked-out the total amount of money to sweep into the coin jar and then just have 1 coin jar transaction in my transaction list per day.
I’m going to have to disagree, I’m afraid! By all means improve the presentation in the feed - but the immediate transfer to a pot is the killer function here, at least for me. No daily batch transfers, please!

Any chance of weekly targets in the future? This would be a huge help as a freelancer, managing money on more erratic pay schedules.
Making it easier to pay people
We’ll make it easier to find contacts that are also on Monzo, or ones you’ve paid recently. So you can pay who you need to quickly, without scrolling through so many names.
I guess this may be rolling out today judging by the Facebook post, although I can’t see anything in my app yet.
Is this just an improvement to Monzo contacts or shall we be seeing some ‘sprucing up’ for normal payees too?
I’ve just forced closed the app and re-opened it and the new screen is showing.
The list to invite my contacts is finally gone and the Golden Ticket is now a small circle in the top right corner 
I would LOVE it if one of the surprises or updates to spending was to split transactions between categories or not include the full amount. Eg. If I paid for my friend but she paid me back I don’t want that to count towards my total. That’s really frustrating me right now!

Really disappointed not to see Monzo on here and starting to lose hope. Monzo saying “we would love to have it” for so long now really makes me think that nothing is being done to get there. It also feels like users have been hushes a bit, with a forum thread on the topic even being closed. Sad

I’ve been waiting specifically for the updates to coin jar – tidying up the feed & allowing scheduled payments – since this was posted back on 5th April, and it’s vexing that this is not yet here.
Any comment from Monzo?
At what point do they give monthly update?

After launching this new Summary screen, I just cannot find the monthly export option. Please help! 
It’s not in the Summary screen right now, if you head over to Account, tap on your name at the top and scroll down to monthly statements
