All my UK friends have Monzo, but if we can get a referral bonus for Irish customers, I have about 20 to send out

My sister moved to Donegal a few years ago, and has been a bit underwhelmed by what the banks there offer, so I’ve sent her straight to the waiting list.

@AlanDoe Big fan of Monzo after living in the UK. I’ve tried to join the waitlist for Irish current accounts but it won’t let me due to having a UK account. Is this something you could support with?

Monzo Ireland FAQ

Unfortunately, you can’t have Monzo accounts in more than one country at the same time. So if you’d like to open a Monzo account in Ireland, you’ll need to close your existing UK Monzo account first. When you close your account, there’s a 30-day cooling-off period. During this time, any new applications (including for an Irish account) will be automatically declined, and the 30-day period will restart if you try to apply again.
