Switzerland uses the Swiss franc (CHF)
In most urban areas you should be perfectly fine using your Monzo card! It is unlikely you’ll need to use your magstripe because the terminals usually support EMV for chip and pin.
You should have no worries about using your card to withdraw cash from ATMs in Switzerland.
Payment and withdrawal limits
All Monzo cards have some payment and withdrawal limits. To check yours before you leave, go to your Profile section of the app and tap on Limits.
Crowdsourced merchant data
Data will most likely be scant so please try and contribute relevant feedback about transactions
Some retailers may have issues with Monzo, please report them on this wiki page as appropriate.
