Currency
Malta use the Euro (EUR)
Monzo users pay the Mastercard exchange rate with no added fees.
Card usage
Almost everywhere accepts card payments including contactless. Remember to always opt to pay in the local currency to avoid Dynamic Currency Conversion.
ATMs
ATMs are very common, they are in many stores and are on the street. All ATMs seem to accept Monzo.
Payment and withdrawal limits
All Monzo cards have some payment and withdrawal limits. To check yours before you leave, go to your Profile section of the app and tap on Limits.
Crowdsourced merchant data
Data seems to be okay, most places are small businesses so do not have twitter or any official logo so can be hard to submit suggestions for changes.
