Euro, €, EUR
MasterCard is widely accepted, almost everywhere we went in Helsinki took card payments, even mobile street food stalls etc.
Contactless payments are widely used as well & there were no problems using them. However, Helsinki Cycle Hire may not work with your Monzo card.
We used one ATM in Helsinki (HEL) airport but you can get by if you want to go cashless!
Payment and withdrawal limits
In the event that you do use Contactless payment the limit is only €25 and any payments above this will require the entry of a PIN (correct as at 27/04/2017)
