Hmm very strange! 
The only suggestion I have is clearing the appdata and logging out / back in again 
But hopefully someone from Monzo, with slightly better ideas than that, can chime in 
Think the tone is a system thing, my Pixel always does it when l put my phone on my wallet not in Monzo app etc
The activation by card is ridiculously cool though

My card activation by NFC failed 
However, the manual activation process was pretty painless.
Moto G5 Plus where Android Pay works without quibble.

Change of address and ordering a replacement card are the two main changes in this release

Small typo in the overdraft prompt “out” instead of “our”. Not sure how us beta users are meant to inform Monzo of things like this?

No, had a look around but couldn’t figure it out, was thinking it would come up after freezing the card but it didn’t…
Same text as in iOS. They may actually be ‘building out’ the overdraft facility…

Had occurred to me, I automatically read it as “our” for some reason.

I couldn’t find it (ordering a replacement card) either, so had a long conversation with the good people on Chat.
Short answer is that either it is not actually in the release and the mention in the notes is a mistake or it is in the build but not enabled yet while it is Beta but will be enabled when 1.16 goes “stable”. Support were not entirely sure which of these two are correct.
All they could admit is that it is implemented but not yet released.
Coming soon, I guess.

How do you access to the Dev menu to try this out? (appreciate it’s not a final product yet)
You need a launcher or app that can start activities directly.
