At this very minute we have 374,244 Current Accounts and 209,702 prepaid accounts left to upgrade.

Looks like in the last 25k activations that’s about 15k of conversions and 10k new signups in the last seven days :+1:

Sorry, I meant - are you (or Monzo) concerned that such a large proportion of prepaid customers haven’t upgraded?

I don’t feel a general concern. I think we understand some of those customers will be lost, because naturally people sometimes stop using a product so we do have a bucket of inactive users. They won’t be keeping up with their Monzo emails, the blog or even opening the app to know there is an upgrade. There are also people who simply do not want a current account with us.

Whilst losing customers is not ideal, we hope our future developments will always attract new and old customers alike.

We have advised prepaid cards will stop working April 4th, and that won’t change. The road to a current account will always be open though :+1:
