You can’t know for certain that every single person conducting those healthchecks does not abuse this privilege in some way.

I know I’m going to bed but:

No I don’t know that for certain, but that’s why checks and balances exist in the system and why a single manager can’t dismiss an employee (in any system).

Part of the role I do is helping to facilitate one of those checks and balances, so I have a fairly good (& but admittedly not complete) overview of how the metrics are used across operations, in different domains and by multiple team and operations managers.

I can’t be sure if i added it but just the knowing there is a system in place that checks your activity every five minutes can’t be good mentally even if you are told don’t worry we aren’t using the data for anything bad.

Its still a psychological hold on the employee
