Mobile Networks

Anyone here used EU roaming with PAYG Lebara? I usually use the Three £10 10GB but it looks like I would get more data with Lebara but seen some mixed reviews online.

I guess if it works it works just might have less roaming partners.

I’ve had no issues roaming in the EU with Lebara. Going to try the US add-on for my next trip over there.

Currently offering 50GB for £1.25 a month for 7 months, so 30GB roaming in the EU, bargain.

Oh yea! Missed that on MSE & as it’s a 30 day contract if I forget to cancel that would still be cheaper. Thanks

It’s a crooked company from top to bottom - I have used them for throwaway data sims but I would never use them with a number I wanted to keep.

Looks like this week’s Private Eye article has been overtaken by events.

Interesting concept, as I get poor signal along the west coast main line where I travel frequently

I got my invite for the SIM yesterday.

I have a backup keepgo SIM that works on all 4 networks in the UK and isn’t limited to certain apps but I find that I often don’t bother going to switch it on because it’s 10 clicks to turn it on (android ) and I’m not rural so often it’s the building that’s blocking the signal, or all 4 networks have masts at the same location on the nearby main road so there’s weak signal from all and you have to manual roam to find the best one.

The data never expires as long as you top it up once a year.

It’s cheapest to pay in USD, you can get 3gb free with a referral code. PM me for one.

Wonder what the decision process for apps is?

Surely there’s not really much input from the relevant apps other than providing a list of domains to allow?

Managed to bag myself quite a good deal from EE!
£32 for unlimited data, calls, texts and Xbox game pass, Roaming Plus and Microsoft 365 all included!!

Came in very handy when I was in Poland last week and I paid for Game pass anyway!!

Where you an existing customer to get the ee deal?

Pondering on this, 60gb, unlimited calls and texts, EU roaming, unrestricted access to EE.

£9.17 a month (£110 for 12 months up front). Ideal for the low-ish users.

Yeah I was existing

I think I’m gonna try spusu when my contract is up. Wouldn’t touch Lyca now :face_with_peeking_eye:

What an awful UX using mobile to view the O2 site.

When I checked a while ago it was missing either WiFi calling or Volte, but they may have it now.

Was this a number that you ported in or a new number from them?

Numbers from now defunct Zevvle would also get Chinese spam calls, they used China Mobile as their enabler. CM seems to be big in the enabler/mvno game so it probably affects others too.

An text message from Vodafone and their own website suggests that 5G Ultra is enabled on an account by account basis rather than just having the right phone and being connected to the right mast? Is that really right?

Correct, as you need to be a new customer or upgraded after February 23.

Existing customers like me despite having an eligible handset, can’t access it.

The hotel ex got nasty?
