Every operator wants to expand lot because customers have less options, the government wants them to and one operator is legally required to do so. The others are reacting with heavy investment.

My friend is O2 and he says coverage is spot on through Liverpool.
I get good reception around Liverpool apart from Anfield Stadium. Not sure if networks cap speeds (to prevent live streaming?) as almost everyone next to me struggles to get working data. I am sure those other people are on other networks not necessarily O2.
You have full bars showing 5G but data is hardly usable, even WhatsApp messages take long to go.
This would just be congestion.
There’s two masts within the stadium but wouldn’t tell you what bandwidth is available, though 5G+ is seemingly available.
Also looks generally like a blind spot from other masts.
Had a look at Sky’s offers the other day. I was with them for years. Can’t believe how expensive they are!

Finally used the mozillion app to buy a Deliveroo voucher which was fast, 3% back off my bill, and worked fine through Deliveroo adding the code for my food.
Wish the app would include my actual account though, makes no sense.
Yeah that’s one of the reasons I’m dumping them. Strange to push an app which is to essentially a gift card shop.
I’m stuck on 12 month plan but I can probs wing my way out if they do me over at any point.
I have a O2 payg sim installed which I got in the post a while back and was surprised how much 5G I get around the house now. Tried to top it up via registering at my O2 and it’s not having any of it for some reason.
Ordered a Sky sim 10gb for £5pm to trial and will cancel before time is up if it’s no good.

I’ve not tried o2 at mine. I’ve been on EE direct for years and now I’m on Vodafone (Klarna) which is much stronger signal and speeds but I wonder if o2 will be even better.
Difficult to say, could grab a O2 sim from an O2 Store with an active bundle to trial. If Vodafone works though you’re probably better there given it’s free.
Vodafone has always been a good all rounder for me, and would have probably been my next go to if they worked on the Merseyrail underground.
I could tap into WiFi and stick the vpn on but be bothered to do that.
And Lloyds is giving me £30 Cashback for Sky mobile so that’s 6 months covered 
Might also switch out my Sky broadband direct debit and back in again for another £45
I don’t think I’d get rid of my Vodafone. I was thinking of replacing my second sim with o2, but I guess the only way I’ll find out how good the signal is by actually testing it.
Being in the city you’d be plagued with standalone so might pay off doing a uswitch offer for a 12 month but it does come with a credit check.
