Ours has just gone back in the loft for another 12 months.
Mainly because if we don’t do it now, we’ll be having a BBQ in July with it there “to do some other time”
I took the Xmas tree down on the 27th when the wife went out a walk. ![]()
Traditionally, all the decorations come down on 6th January, (Tuesday), because that’s when the church celebrates the Epiphany, when the three kings/wise men brought the gifts for Jesus. In some European countries that’s also when presents are exchanged, rather than on Christmas Day.

Did you get jabbed? Not had flu since I was kid, even before I started getting jabbed. I remember at work at this time of year the office was like a Victorian hospital ward with people looking and sounding like they were on their deathbed but I still didn’t succumb.
Also managed to evade Covid so far, despite socialising in crowded places.
Yeah I’ve had my jab, same time as my Covid about November time.
It’s typically January I get wiped out, someone from Christmas antics or New Year’s Eve.
