Marcus Bank

I might download it when that dismal interest rate climbs. I’ve not used my account got a while now! Just left a tiny token amount in to keep it open.

Apparently a 4 year old could use it!

Nice and simple. I like these kind of app designs.

I do still find it amusing that I can update my home address on the app but to change my email I still need to call them up.

Only for iOS so far.

Google Play Store to follow, it seems.

Anyone getting performance issues on it?

Competition imminent?

Better than nothing I suppose!

No way I’d lock my money away for extra 0.1% tbh

You aren’t locking away your money.

It’s just a 12 month fixed bonus for the easy access account which allows you to make withdrawals whenever you like.

:point_up_2:t5: yes this is right. The bonus rate is fixed at 0.1% for 12 months. Your money is still instant access.

However if they start offering better bonus rates in the future, you will have the option on the website to switch to the better rate early.

I misread the post as a bonus for a fixed rate account

:man_facepalming::man_facepalming::rofl::man_facepalming:

It’s like it was in 2019 then, with a bonus.

0.50% would match my Atom one.

Bonus reviewed. Cheers

I do prefer the app of Marcus to Atom, I hate Atom’s Face ID interpretation. So tempted to move the bulk of my savings back to Marcus.

Still waiting for its release on Google Pay.

How much can you do on the iOS version?

Can you change linked account through the app at all?

One thing I love about my Skipton account is the ability to have TWO linked accounts, as it saves some of the money movement.

Large amounts go to my Nationwide, due to Monzo limits, and smaller FPs via Monzo.

Works well, but not worth the drop from 0.65% to 0.15% it will sustain in September.

Cheers @N26throwaway :+1:

Skipton reducing to 0.15%? When was that announced?

Last September when they said the 0. 50% bonus would only last 12 months :joy:

Just received the Marcus email informing me of the availability of a bonus on their savings account, despite fact I added it yesterday :man_facepalming:
