MacBook Pro 16 inch

Oh come on let’s not bring fanboy stuff into this. I love some Apple hardware but this clearly isn’t a Google issue — Chromium is open source and multiplatform and only has this issue on one OS.

I’m not being a fanboy. Chrome is a known CPU, RAM and battery hog. It’s the same on windows. Anyway, this is off-topic so let’s leave it.

Yeah it’s Google software so one for them to resolve. I mean, they all have macs don’t they :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I would love one but the price

Oh to have a £1K+ disposable laptop!

I have an appointment with the genius bar this week. My 16-month old 13" MBP with touchbar just suddenly died one evening last week. It was fine, not a hint of instability. I put it aside to get up to grab something, sat back down and nothing…It won’t turn on, it won’t charge, it’s basically a brick. It’s the first MacBook this has happened to for me, but it does shake my faith that I’d be able to depend on it, should they be able to fix it.

Would I buy the 16" now? Probably not.

I have one, it’s very good.

Such a huge upgrade from my 2018 13"

I have already bought the new 16 inch. Time to test it. My current MacBook is 2012 first Gen retina. It still works fine but aging slowly and this would be a great change for me.

Bought one, haven’t received it yet. Bit of an expensive investment I’d say but I managed to juice over 5 years out of my previous one, so this should last a while. Been putting off an upgrade for a while since the keyboards on the 2016-19 models have been awful.

I wouldn’t have upgraded if my previous was still running efficiently, but I’m wasting too much time in loading screens and lag and can’t work as productively on this anymore.

Do like it but I like my Dell XPS 13
