When logging in for the first time in a new app installation (on a new phone, etc) displays the wrong status bar color on the first launch of the app. Switching away from the app and back resets the color to the right one (see screenshots).
Details to reproduce:
Uninstall the Monzo app (if any). Install the Monzo app then follow the login flow up until the point where you see the home screen with the balance and transactions. Notice how the status bar text is barely visible because it’s set to white even though the background is also white (I guess it’s a leftover from the days where the top part of the home screen was dark).
