Wait a week as in just leave it all well alone? Did they ever tell you what the problem was? Lloyds are clueless.
Friend of mine got just recieved his Lloyds Card for a new Platinum Account and it’s same as the older ones.
I think the new design is not being sent out yet…
The new design was never planned to be sent out not before android redesign going live.
@Carlo1460 sounds like someone else has the same issue as you but found a work around: Reddit - Dive into anything
I’ve tried the whitelist.
Possibly need to add all 3 current cards to the whitelist? 2 accounts, one pending delivery to cancel the older card.
Though to be fair I’m sure they did the whitelist on the original card and still nothing.
I don’t have a credit card.
At this point I’d give up and either switch banks or phones
I actually read that post earlier today (I thought I posted it here) but the newer comments must not have been there when I read it
I’ll try the whitelist again tomorrow for all current cards.
I think it’s more annoying to me, because it should work but it doesn’t. I’m not overly fussed using Apple Pay, I’m more about the detail.
Re: the fee waiver, I believe the fee waiver is applied if you’ve paid £2000 in the previous calendar month.
Whatever you do this calendar month won’t affect this calendar month’s fee.
This is correct.
New club Lloyds silver replacement is a standard Lloyds card, not even a club Lloyds reference
Definitely using up old card stock
Pondering going for the £200 bonus as I think, despite me having previously had money from Halifax within the disqualifying timeframe, I’ve since moved and now have a different Lloyds account & password to the one I had at my old address where I also had a Halifax account. Do you think they’d see me as a ‘new’ customer (new as in not had money before, not as in new to the bank)?.
No. You don’t qualify.
In theory you don’t qualify, as they keep customer records for years after you leave. In practice whether they match your details will be down to luck.
Is the Apple Pay the new design/colour/wording though?
We don’t talk about Apple Pay.
Doesn’t work for me.
Oh dear my bad.
Well I also got a regular card, not a Club Lloyds one and the Apple Pay is just the same:
Interestingly I can’t view my card details in the app and still can’t add to Apple Pay via the app (but can via Apple Wallet directly).
You think that Lloyds is getting rid of their Standard Card Stock?
Before the new cards being to be sent out?
It looks that way. Which is a bit of a shame.
I’m still not convinced they will have horizontal cards but I do hope they do!
