Got a notification last night telling me I needed to add more money for the payments leaving my account the next day. Never seen this before, well requested by me because itās so useful.
Iāve seen similar with I think NatWest but I agree itās a nice feature.
Lloyds notifications seem to have reached a good level of stability and even the DD ones are in time. I also think itās one of the more modern ālegacy bankā apps out there.
Just wish the customer service was more consistent, lots of friendly people when you have to speak to them but massive differences in capability and knowledge.
Itās also noted that customer service wise. If you select the premier support button in the app, (question mark top right, then scroll down) Premier simply gets you to the front of the queue. It does not direct you to a dedicated premier team.
Whichād be fine if they didnāt tout it as one of the benefits - itās a little disingenious to call it a ādedicated Lloyds premier teamā when it clearly isnātā - I mind only because that was one of the things that made HSBC a truly āPremierā experience - call straight away and to a dedicated team (which I always suspected was really the FD team)
Also to say itās exclusive to premier for savings rates when itās just the club Lloyds ones is also misleading.
On a plus point the other areas of premier are pretty good, the card is nice, and the additional features are quite interesting. @Peter_G this has the manual net worth additions you always wanted.
Have you had any issues with your cards in Apple Pay? I remember when I had the beta iOS 18 it wouldnāt let me add any Lloyds / Halifax cards, the minute iOS was released it was fine

Itās not a beta issue itās a Lloyds issue.
I think the issues are separate. I had the card add issue on beta which the moment I updated to full release, then disappeared. I have also independently since had the issue others here have, which weirdly was resolved by getting a new phone

The only thing that fixed it for me was a whole new phone haha

Absolutely not suggesting this is a solution. Lloyds need to fix their problems - simply highlighting itās a weird and unusual scenario given how Iāve been able to resolve it

Is all good! Didnāt want to sound like Iād hacked the problem with a very expensive fix! Itās a crazy issue and so frustrating
Worked fine for me but as @Carlo1460 said itās not a beta issue. They worked fine before too.
How easy is it to get a premier account?
Just pressing a button I think. But then thereās a minimum pay in
Getting any account at Lloyds isnāt āeasyā as they have elusive back office requirements that no one there seems to understand.
But in theory as easy as opening a premier account, if you have an existing packaged or club account Iād highly recommend opening a new one/downgrading that first. Caused no end of hassles for me upgrading directly to premier from club platinum.
I mean having to say it a Lloyds issue
