I guess not anymore ever since travel insurance went to Aviva.

Why would you think that?

We had to claim on the FlexPlus travel insurance back in February. The process was smooth (only hiccup was getting to speak to a human on the phone in the first place but once we navigated the voice system we got a direct number), and the claim was handled very quickly, we were asked to gather some evidence but it was never requested to be seen, and money was paid within 2 days of the 2nd phone call. It was a very positive experience and one to make us even more sure to stay with FlexPlus.

My understanding was that being insured by the underwriter directly is the best way

100% this, if Nationwide had a notifications I would move all my stuff to them. Also I often open and close accounts with Lloyds and it is always instant, with the card details usually appearing in the app the next day.

Anyone having app issues after the update today? My app won’t open and crashes on the splash screen…

Working fine here. It did have that issue the other day though, restarted my phone and all was well.

Thanks, tried that but still down after restart, might delete and reinstall.

The issue will persist even after this. . It worked for all of two seconds. Once the app closed it won’t reopen.

To be fair, I deleted, reinstalled and it has been working again - even if I force close the app and reopen. The update caused this though as it was working just before I updated.

Okay for me on iOS.

Oh? With the exception of the CC faff I must say Lloyds has been fine for me. Current app issues not withstanding. Never got this with HSBC.

Not my experience. Deleted, restarted, downloaded and it worked the first time. But then won’t re-open.

Upgraded mine couple of hours ago, working fine on iOS 18.4.1

Wonder if it’s a product issue? I have a club silver, no saver or anything else.

I get that. It only takes one bad experience. I’ll never go back to TSB even if it was the only bank left after their abysmal service.

The app seems ok after deleting and reinstalling again but I don’t dare force quit it by accident. I suspect that this will get picked up in the release logs and sorted out tomorrow.

App is working fine for me after update and I have 360 which is still visible for now

I spoke too soon! It is crashing for me again, just as I was making some payments. I have to say, it the 20 odd years I have been with Loyds, this is the first time I have had something like this happen. All banks have these teething issues so not too angry.

So confirmed that if you force close it, you can’t get back in :confused:

Luckily it’s also on my iPad so can use that without issue
