🐎 Lloyds Banking Group Chat

I;ve not seen anything that Premier will launch on the 30th, just that 360 will go. Premier seems to be “in the coming weeks”, but as MarkL says, they seem to be updating the page, so fingers crossed it launches before 360 goes!

I like the card design but I found the new Lloyd’s cards really flimsy. Just wish they were a bit thicker.

Oo er.

I’m sure I’d read the 30th but on reflection I think you’re right, it doesn’t explicitly say the 30th. Hopefully it will be.

On a related note that card is :cook::ok_hand:

That is a stunning card! I hope I can upgrade my Silver account…

They did say 30th over email announcing premier.

What happens next?
We’ll make changes to Lloyds 360 on 30 April.

I think I and others made a link that’s conjecture.

We know that 360 changes are happening on the 30th, we also know a new premier account is launching around this time.

But not that one is a replacement for the other or if indeed it will launch on that date

There’s also a terms and conditions booklet online which says premier will carry a £29 monthly fee (page 21).

Looks like there will be a Premier and a Club Lloyds Premier too.

Or is that referring to the old no longer offered Premier account as that is ÂŁ29 a month and more of a packaged than true Premier account?

It’s hard to tell, the document is up to date and on the old accounts it has (no longer available) next to it which would suggest it’s the new Premier.

Pure speculation though.

Interesting, would be a different offer as all the other Premier accounts from HSBC, NatWest, Barclays etc don’t charge a fee but they’re not packaged accounts either. That may put me off it as I’d have the Premier but don’t want a packaged account

I think this is the old Premier AVA. They do update the T&Cs for accounts no longer on sale, e.g. Gold account. Wish I’d one of the old gold AVA debit cards. Apparently now updated to a generic green design.

That has to be the old premier. Platinum which offers much the same is only ÂŁ22.50 (or ÂŁ17.50 If you deposit over a certain amount).

I stick to the theory that the new premier will either be a sliding scale, you pay an amount based on what you pay in or it’s free over a certain amount whereas you pay for it otherwise.

Otherwise, what would the draw be, being you can get essentially much the same offering as HSBC premier as was for the cost above.

I think they’re removing that this year so it goes full price.

I hope not, it was a key deciding factor for coming to Lloyds. If they did I’d likely just downgrade to standard as the packaged items would be cheaper to buy independently.

Oh? I’m sure that’s only recently appeared. Ah well, at least we have until August. So some time to consider options. Still happy enough with Lloyds and the offering so unlikely to change.

What do you like about Lloyd’s? I thought nationwide offering was strictly better

Lloyds has a better app for sure.
