I’ve rung and reported it this morning, hopefully that’ll do something. It just doesn’t work at all for me. I did manage to get it to work by reinstalling and not force closing.

But then I came across the other bug where it will get stuck on authentication leaving me no option but to force close it.

I will say, Lloyds phone support is actually quite good and if it was open 24/7 that’d be even better.

Just looking on twitter, a few people with the same issue with their customer services saying they are not aware of issues, which is a little worrying.

Is this because you’re running beta versions of iOS?

I’ve not seen any issue at all. I have opened the app a number of times and completed payments. Transfers. Etc in the last day.

Follow up, I opened two accounts yesterday, today they sent me a text saying they are closing them and also blocked an outgoing payment to Triodos. So I’m sticking with RBS for now.

I had even set up 3 switches from RBS to Lloyds maybe it was that that upset them

Yes I had two, opened two and also a cash isa which I started to switch. Luckily I was able to cancel all the switches before any damage was done.

Did you attempt to call them. This happened to me because I’d shortened down my organisation name and they didn’t know what it was. Once I explained it, and the fact it was their fault that a character limit existed in the company name box it was all good.

I’m on 18.4.1 also which is the latest non beta release version. I reported it earlier but they also said they hadn’t had many reports so sounds like it’s only happening to a few.

EDIT: Managed to get it to work again by deleting and reinstalling. Which would be annoying but fine given you have to call each time you want to register the app.

The only problem is since I don’t know when it’ll happen next I can’t deregister the app first. Equally I can’t do this when it crashes out since I can’t get back in.

Which means eventually I’ll hit the limit and have to call in and speak to a human.

It is a dark mode issue… f***!!! Be fixed soon

@Boring - Are you aware of any app issues following the last update causing crashing? I can’t use the app at all and a few people on twitter and here have the issue as well.

Thank you for this! I’d also wondered if the light/dark mode was the reason.

I can live with it for now until the next update. One day I’ll be able to run my phone in dark mode and Lloyds in light :sweat_smile:

Confirmed this resolved the problem on iOS 18.4.1 for me.

Just to also note @BenC it works if you set it to follow the device settings. Phone is in dark mode and app set to follow this, which works.

Force closing and opening the app a few times confirms the app will consistently load.

On other news, premier launches ā€œat the end of this monthā€ which is tomorrow :eyes:

On other other news nice to see we finally have dark maps on transactions. Now just need insights and the info tab for the credit card to also follow dark mode and I might just use it regularly.

I was paying into my own account with Triodos and it matched, I think the issue now I think of it is I used my work laptop to open the new accounts (they closed) and also to setup the bill payment, as I work for a US company all my web traffic is routed through the US, so I suspect but cannot prove that may have been the issue.
Last week I opened a BOS account with no issue, but I was at home

360 has disappeared from the app today but no sign on Premier. Did they actually say somewhere that Premier would be launching at the end of the month or on the 30th? Don’t think I’ve seen anything that actually said that just that 360 was essentially going on that date?

Are they closing your BOS account too?

Hopefully not, I just upgraded it to the Platinum, but in this case it was not a new account, but upgrading my existing one

I think I’ve fallen into the Mandela effect here. I’m sure I’d seen somewhere the line ā€œat the end of the monthā€ from Lloyds but can’t find it now.

I have seen ā€œin the coming weeksā€ from the original press release on the 15th so hopefully not too long off now.
