Lloyds Banking Group Chat šŸ«

Every other card in existence works fine so :man_shrugging:

The whitelist didn’t work for me :grimacing:

It’s more about adding and removing any cards to the device and/or account over an unknown period of time, not just Lloyds or the 16.

Yeah I can’t make any sense of it, those links above about the auth process have made it clearer.

Maybe I should refer it all to Lloyds in a complaint :grimacing:

I did open another account, glutton for punishment I know.

New username, password, email I think. So will see.

Think they key is just never remove your card :joy:

I wonder if it’s a 90 day reset window, like no cards removed or added from wallet pay for any bank, and the apple risk reduces.

Assuming:

Green - Apple Pay is fine
Amber - Apple Pay is hesitant - whitelist works with Lloyds to add
Red - no go whatever is tried

Nobody at ground level would have a clue about any of that, I’ve only just clicked onto it through a deep dive :joy:

I had the same problem for 3 months my platinum card would not work on Apple no matter what I or Lloyds tried mine is a joint account and my partners card worked fine on his android phone so I put in a complaint and it started working and still working good on Apple now so don’t know what they done because they never got back to me

Lloyds sounds absolutely riddled with tech issues. Not understanding the hype this forum has been giving it recently.

I haven’t experienced many myself. I did have a few issues with Apple Pay but these resolved soon enough.

The app I’ve found to be really stable, and when there has been a bug it’s been sorted reasonably quickly.

I think club Lloyds is a decent enough offering and actually so is the rest of the proposition. For me at least I can get Platinum at the reduced amount and with the world elite card it also offers more for less than elsewhere.

The savings rates are pretty decent and the investment fees are comparable elsewhere.

I would’ve probably moved ages ago if it wasn’t for the fact I could get premier under the old rules with HSBC.

When there has been an issue, while live chat has been utterly useless for the most part, it’s always been resolved one way or another.

Clearly it isn’t a Monzo or Fintech but I don’t think it’s all that far behind in some ways.

I don’t have a watch, the card did add fine to my friends phone though some weeks back.

It is known it’ll work cross product. Just an underlying issue with how Lloyds completes their checks.

It can’t be visa because I can add other Visa cards no problem.

I had this issue with adding the card to Apple Pay on my Mac. It kept saying to contact the issuer. It was quickly sorted by calling their ā€œWallet teamā€.

Annoying but at least it was quickly sorted with a 5 minute call.

We had a smooth process last October with this.
Could be because we both already had Lloyds accounts? It was really fee taps and we were up and running

It’s definitely a Lloyds thing - I’ve never had issues with cards re-adding on any other device, ever. The only one time was once with HSBC, for some reason adding to the Apple Watch triggered a fraud call, but that was easily sorted.

When you get to a department that is open, this has been, consistently, my experience. I also used the live chat to automatically update the credit card due date which was super simple via the bot.

Jealous that you don’t have the annoying combine your pension message under your savings account randomly like I do

Nope, which makes it so annoying. I wish they’d make promo material on the home page dismissible like NatWest do

Very! And a shame because the new app looks sweet in dark mode

I know right. I don’t mind adverts elsewhere, but it’s a little annoying to see that just under the account balance.

Even more annoying is the ad on the login screen where you have to click to avoid and login. Even Monzo ain’t that pushy :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Anyone here got 360? What are your thoughts? If I switch to Lloyds full time I will more than likely be offered it and just wondering if its worth getting ā€˜excited’ over…

Not yet, I too should be in a position to be ā€œofferedā€ this but I’m not sure, as it stands, I’ll notice much difference.

I’m not sure you even get a 360 card anymore, might be wrong.

Definitely nothing to get excited about. Financial coaching which is really just a sales opportunity. Some discounts on packaged account fees, small discount on mortgage rates. There was a preferential savings rate but now nothing more than anyone can get and a few extra app features but TBH I don’t think I’d notice if I didn’t have it

I’ve never been given a 360 card. I did see a photo of one so it may have been trialled as part of the really early test but I believe there’s never been one generally available for 360 customers. Supposedly they’re bringing out a new premier current account this year though so we’ll see what that offers

Thanks for the ss!

Yeah I think I saw on here the mention of a new premier offer - could be good.. interesting to see if it would rival my current HSBC offer…
