Kind of defeating your own argument here because Monzo is solely responsible for the content of their advertising.
Nobody paid for the offerings they advertised before they were released
They only paid for the core bundle which had its own feature set.
Even with that view, the Core bundle didn’t deliver on it’s own feature set…

Lack of swag/plus events
While that is true, there were still features that were promised in that feature set and never arrived (eg. swag and the forum post debacle). So those users still didn’t get everything they paid for.
Well on that note I stand corrected 
I thought people were wanting refunds for monzo not delivering on the unreleased add ons.

I got the response to my complaint. Essentially said the same thing as the COp that I spoke to. No refund, even though others on the same version of Plus as me have received full ones. Not even a “We’re sorry we messed up, here’s a couple of months back”. First bad experience with Monzo and it’s left me really disappointed.
I’ve cancelled Plus and will get to keep my monzo.me link and the card until it needs to be replaced.

I think you’re comment is disingenuous, people rightly have concerns about the levels of support, among others.
If I need support, I don’t want to wait 12 - 14 hours for a response, especially without any expectation as to how long I can expect to wait.
No I’m saying you knew what you were paying for, and that the features weren’t available yet people want a refund when you’ve been getting interest covering the early bird fee anyway

Those features have gone from “These will be coming soon, you should sign up” to “These are never coming”.
Surely you can see why people feel a little put out by the change?
I would guess most subscribers don’t have £4K sitting in their account earning them around £3 interest a month.
Also, most subscribers didn’t receive “swag” (I hate that word!) and there were only two events planned. One of these was related to Plus V2 as they’d already realised they’d screwed up with V1, plus they allowed non-Plus customers to attend meaning people paying the monthly fee couldn’t go!
On what planet is it OK to claim that everyone got everything they paid for?!? 
You haven’t actually responded to my point which was people being pissed off because some are getting refunds and others are not. So again, do you think people don’t have a right to feel pissed off about this?
Plus early bird was £3 a month. People who didn’t get swag, let’s say out of the £3, that was £1.
I don’t know exactly when plus was first launched, let’s say March time. 8 months of £1. I really wouldn’t be that fussed if I didn’t receive a refund equating to £8.
I’m not saying it’s right, but all this fuss, complaints etc over £8 is a little bit over the top in my opinion. Each to their own though.
For me and some others there was a support aspect, I raised a ticket to get this cancelled and a refund, and it took over 12 hours before I had any response. Does that help?
I’ve said this before but people choose to ignore, they said don’t sign up based on what is planned to come, in case.
