You’ve summed up the crux of the issue, people are confused and things are not being presented clearly or consistently. Monzo are not very forthcoming with information around this despite people continually asking, which only seems to be exacerbating the situation.
Plus was cancelled because it didn’t do well enough. This is because they changed the service to offer bundles instead of the original marketplace idea that was promoted. People were not kept in the loop so when it was sprung on them, they were naturally unhappy. Now it has all been put on hold while they decide what to do.
Some people still haven’t received anything from version 1 or version 2 so they are looking for recompense in addition to being missold the service as well.
