The ability to ‘round up’ would be something I’ve been looking for. A friend tried to introduce me into an app where you put rounded up change into shares but it got me thinking I’d rather just put it into a rainy day fund. AND HERE IT IS… potentially… Please add feature. Thanks
It would be good to add custom images to my pots… I already mocked up some alternate colour versions of my debit card for savings etc but can’t change the image
Apologies if this is already covered. I’m loving the new pots feature and really wanted to personalise my pots by having a custom image for each saving goal. This way I can turn imagination into reality

Quick throw together. Exactly… the day I get to use this as a cover image for my holiday savings pot, the better! Hahaha!
Loving this!! Great design @Jordge
I need the ability to round each transaction and add the change to the pot!
Not sure if this has been suggested, but i’d like to see a history of the pot total.
Currently seems like I can only see the current total and not what it was over a period of time.
Hey,
I am travelling and just put my current balance into a pot, added some money from my main bank account and will use Monzo for expenses on a business trip on the next few days.
An idea I had to compliment this - a way of putting a mark to say to treat everything as expense (I would say mark a pot for this, but we can’t pay with the card out of a pot) from a button in the app. Then, swap the balance with an expense pot (full deposit into a temp pot, full withdraw from an expense one).
I’m primarily using monzo for this because of the photo attach to payment record.
To simplify the idea; a way of swapping balance with a pot’s balance would be so so useful for expenses. Separately, a way of marking “everything for the next hour/day/week is X category” would help too.
Cheers,
Nick
You could still comment on that thread
Wouldn’t mind if the image, alongside the Add/Withdraw options were collapsible so you can see all your balances at a glance without scrolling. The option to hide/show a pot would also be nice.
Pots are a great addition as I can now set money aside for ‘that’ item and not worry that I’ll spend it without realising.
Auto pot transfers are needed though and custom images.
After the last update pots is now much better Thank You Monzo.
Hey, apologies if ts has been mentioned elsewhere, I vaguely remember reading about this but it couldn’t find it when I looked. So I thought I might have imagined it,
I was thinking a good idea for a pot would be allow us to set up a “round up” feature. So whenever we made a purchase, it would round it up to the nearest pound and deposit the rest into a pot we specified, possible up to a specified limit.
So glad you launched pots, was really looking forward to it. Gonna use the heck out of them. Can’t wait for the upvoted features too…
Here’s an idea that I haven’t seen so far: connect Targets to Pots. If I underspend my target, I’d like the difference to go into a Savings pot.
For ex I have set a target of 100 for Shopping. If on the last day of the month I have only 50 spent in the Shopping category, I want 50 to be transfered into my Savings pot. That would encourage me to save up to a larger shopping by a) trying to shop less each month b) wait a bit before buying something expensive and therefore don’t feel guilty about it.
Hello everyone,
I’m new to the forum so I’m not sure if this has been suggested but I love the idea of pots. Would it be possible to implement an option when you make a purchase, the amount spent is rounded up, and then the extra money is contributed to a pot?
It would mean building up savings off of negligible deposits and would encourage people to use their cards more often. I have a rainy day pot and would like a way to build up some savings just from everyday use.
What do people think?
hi Calum - welcome to the forum - your idea is quite a requested feature and has been discussed a few times previously - as a new member you wouldn’t have known that obvs .
if you search using the frying pan top right you will find the previous discussions - I looked for “round up purchases”
Ah, thanks. I’ll search a bit more in the future.
no problem - its a good idea
I love that it’s a frying pan and not a magnifying glass
Not a huge feature request, but I’m using pots a lot (great!)… But my Home screen is becoming heavily cluttered with items (especially as I move and spend money on Christmas presents).
Would it be possible to include a setting to hide these entries? I understand permanently removing them probably isn’t a good idea (i.e. the occasional dumb moment where I wonder where my money has gone), but perhaps they could collapse into one ‘pots’ entry per day?
