Spot on… even thought its money from last month…

I’m using an Android Pixel, I get a blank screen when loading the new Breakdown tab. 44

This happened to me last month, I spent nearly all of the month in red.

The summary is meant to help negate the use of the pot for ā€˜every day’ spending. I’m aiming to leave my spending money in the main balance this month :scream:

@anon54369320 - you might have to try a reinstall :see_no_evil:

We should have an options to exclude pot transfers from the spending… so it ignores them…

That’s great to hear Beth! Excited to see you guys continue to iterate on it

I’ll post that in the channel for visibility

Various payments at various intervals mean it’s not possible at moment to put monthly money in all at once. If it could use weekly payment to work out what I’d be adding per month (x4 for ease) then it would work fine for me

Yay, thanks reinstall fixed it, like everyone else here, I’ve been very excited to get my hands on this.

Also, as a ā€œnon-standardā€ Monzo user the Ā£500 limit, which I infer (can’t find a source for this?) is for an input to be counted as salary is very limiting. I know Monzo does not want to exclude people but this excludes me and others who simply don’t have this great a regular payment. Surely it cant be that hard to be able to label any regular incoming payment, irrespective of value?

I don’t get it so I’ve turned it off

Please remember that this is an MVP, which isn’t even released to our customers yet (in a normal app update sense). It is in very very early days.

All of this feedback will be read by our Product team and those who handle this

Anything in particular? Your screenshot did look odd

I hope people remember this! It’s in labs for a reason!

It was just weird and looked too much and things were missing.

I’ll prob have another look later

The £500 limit comes from the event where it was mentioned. Income over 500 will be able to be set as a salary.

Indeed, hopefully that’ll go and we can set any income as a Salary. Especially for those who get sporadic income over different days, or just don’t get enough income as it is per month lol

It’s looking good and much more detailed than Targets (I never understood Targets and could never use it).

Being able to set my Salary regardless of the £500 minimum needs to happen. Or just set a custom date of when I want the summary to start and end. But I think for most normal 9-5 working people, this works quite well!

Direct Debits being included will be great (I know this is coming).

Looks like this is finally the screen we needed to understand what the hell is going on with my awful money management

Yeah I agree, makes sense to be able to swipe straight away rather than pulling the tab down and then swiping.

Posted earlier my thoughts on the £500 limit

In addition would like to add I like the ability to exclude spending from the summary but at the same time I’d like to exclude incoming transactions. As an example if I pay for cinema tickets for my mum to take my daughter out she will eventually send me the money back. I can currently exclude my payment but the fact she sent me money is inflating my income.

Also wondering if have to disable labs to get my targets back? Would be nice if targets and summary were combined.

In regards to Beth’s comments. Fully understand this is a WIP as is the whole app. So will keep providing my 2 pence in the hope changes will be made.

Has anyone experienced the app crashing since they enabled the Summary tab? I’ve tried adding notes to a couple of transactions since enabling it and the app has crashed each time

It does not seem to pick up my regular bills? Anyone else seeing this issue?
