I’ve definitely been watching ITV fine with HomePods the whole time. I’m away now but will check when back.

The app works with AirPods fine on my iPad now.

Uh I recognise a couple of faces - I said they were D list celebs. I guess not recognising them all is indeed telling - if I spent my time watching Hollyoaks, daytime TV, and X factor, I would have a better idea.

So I’m sat here waiting through interminable advertisements for a programme to start on ITVX on my Apple TV box just so that I can report that it works fine on my AirPods. :wink:

Yeah they put the prices up but I didn’t get any option of keeping it, just increased from £3.99 to £5.99 so not sure how you avoided it.

ITVX Premium is £1 a month for two months if you can persuade them you are a new user.

Curses I just fell foul of this too. I cancelled my £3.99 subscription as I hadn’t watched an ITV show in a while. It’s now £5.99 if I ever want to renew it. I’ll pass for that price.

ITV X is rubbish. Only 10/20 things to watch in each section and then there all old films or documentaries. Very basic and boring

ITVX seems to now be working with my HomePods.

I had deleted it and reinstalled it if that helps.

When you say “mute the TV” do you mean turn off the sound or actually pause the stream? Muting, by definition, is disabling the sound.

If you mean pausing, no. I’ve paused it for 10 minutes or so and it has picked up again when I take it off pause.
