So did anyone make the upgrade and then not stick with it? I really like Premium, the card is nice and I do like the insurance offers. Still not 100pc sold on whether the difference between plus and premium is worth it
Curious as to if others upgraded and then didn’t stick about (either went back to Plus or just downright cancelled Monzo paid accounts). If you did, why?

car hire excess up to £3k in the UK and it pays off otherwise it’s £10+ per day of hire
I’m not sure if you have a slightly different offer to me, but the £3k excess cover works in the UK if:
- You’ve travelled more than 100 kilometres.
- You have pre-booked accomodation for more two nights or more.
That may fall under your use case, but in general - if you’ve car hire in the UK for general trips, it won’t cover anything.

True, but most case uses were covered, and I still saved money.
In the end I decided that it wasn’t. Plus does what I need just fine. Gonna miss that card tho
