Hi!
I got an email from an address ending with @monzo.com.co
Is this email ID authentic?
What was the context of the email?
probably the dodgy job offer email asking for all your personal details etc
Job interview invitation
The email came from leti.taylor@monzo.com.co
Without any context, my gut says it is not authentic and do not reply or interact with any link in the email until you’ve confirmed with monzo that it’s them. It probably isn’t authentic though
Hi @Sam2 & welcome ![]()
That domain doesn’t have a SSL certificate, but if you continue past the warning, it redirects to monzo.com which does have a SSL certificate and is the genuine website. So it looks like it is legit.
However, at any time, that redirect could easily point to a fake website which looks just like the Monzo website. I would avoid it like the plague.
Monzo’s official help also says similar:
@com.co wouldn’t be an authentic email I would say.
I’ve been trying to say the same thing but alas, the flaggers be here, arghh ![]()
![]()
My guess is the word filter is being triggered. Curious what word they’re using ![]()
In my last flagged post, I didn’t even use a word!
It’s probably this:
Whatever this AI content scanner is clearly just not very good.
It’s terrible.
Oh yay! My post with a screenshot got flagged!
