I rarely use YouTube, maybe if there’s a game I like the look of I will search the gameplay of it to see if it’s worth the download.
Google One plans (AI Pro 5TB and up) also include YouTube Premium Lite, was only added a few months ago.
I watch a lot on YouTube, and so it might be beneficial, and push me up to the £9 tier, but I’m so against it as I can’t use the Railcard, or the Greggs

YouTube Lite seems pretty useless and if you don’t use either of the other things, would probably be cheaper if you directly bought.

Nah it wouldn’t.
It’s £7.99/month for Lite - and I pay £3 for the lowest tier Extra, so it’s cheaper to go with it via Monzo.

That’s the logo for the upgrade section on their app btw, not an AI logo! If you have Perks, it shows you the Max offerings.

Normally that would work well for me as I was paying for YouTube lite. But likes others, I now have it bundled with the AI Pro thing.

Max is also getting YouTube & +£2
I’ll be annoyed if they put the price up mid year if I then only have a choice of paying the extra or cancelling and paying a penalty.
I suspect they’ll either honour people’s £7/month (or £17/£22), or they’ll offer zero cancellation fees to Perks / Max members who have claimed the Railcard.
Or, option 3 is offer people to continue paying their existing plan (without YouTube), or upgrade to these new plans?

Why would there be a penalty?
The railcard - I had already bought my Wrinkly Railcard through the railcard website. But I swallowed my intense dislike of the Trainline app as I was already paying for Perks, to get a Two Together railcard (I’ve still never bought a ticket through it).

Cancelling if you’ve claimed the Railcard makes you pay a monthly amount multiplied by however much is left of the Railcard term. Something like £2.68?

They won’t do this. You have bought it so need to pay for it.

Why would they do any of those?
They have terms that mean they can give 2 months notice to increase the price. They’ll do that & then from that point people will get the new benefits or cancel - I’d imagine.
They may - I guess - give you those things to you earlier if you accept the fee.
But in terms of forcing existing users, they’ll just force everyone to pay £2 more after 2 months.
