Any idea what happens to my virtual cards when I cancel then upgrade? I suppose it wouldn’t be a massive inconvenience to have to create new ones.
You can choose to reactivate the old when you subscribe again.
It’s a bit of a joke, jumping through hoops like this to change a payment date, rather than just baking it in to the product.
But hell mend them, and the myriad of excess cards it produces. I’ve always kept my Coral card but I’m tempted to order a new card out of spite every time the upgrade process allows it.
Bit of an odd thing, but when I use my free cash deposits, it appears as a charge of £0. The “x charge” should probably be removed, or only count up if the charge is >£0.
Not sure if this belongs here or in a separate PayPoint topic
Yeah, I’m behind that. A charge of £0.00 is most definitely not a charge.
I have an issue with Extra connected accounts. Funds from my FD Current Account paid off my FD Visa Balance in full by DD. The transaction is not showing on my FD Connected Visa account but the balance is nil which is correct. I asked Monzo CS chat but they don’t understand. It’s not a big deal but I’d expect transactions to be correct. I’m not sure if they can see my FD transactions and if I asked FD I can’t see they’d be overly interested. If open banking transactions are incorrect who do you refer to? Any thoughts?
Is it a recent payment? Credit card payments often show as pending for a few days, despite showing a change in balance. Wait a few days?
I made a transaction from FD last night and in monzo weirdly showed a bit down the list in the activity feed, even though it was the most recent transaction.
I just made a wee payment to my Halifax card.
On Monzo the balance has updated the connected account accordingly, but no transaction shows AS YET.
Definitely just wait a day or so.
The Direct Debit went through on 3rd May. The transaction on my Monzo connected FD CA is showing correctly. It’s taken it off my balance as it shows as nil but the transaction is not showing on on my Monzo connected FD Visa account. It’s all in order as it shows correctly in the FD app. However as I pay for Extra I expect it to be correct and to have confidence it shows all transactions. I’m just at an impasse as to who to report this to as the Monzo CS staff seem to be disinterested and don’t appear to even know what Extra is.
Ah ok that’s something else.
Open banking definitely has it’s limitations. It’s far from a standard yet.
That seems to be the case. I had Snoop previously and they were always correct. I have complained and asked for an Extra expert to look at this.
Was the direct debit reversed at all?
Any others missing?
Seems customer service just don’t have a clue at times
Gotta be real simple in your approach.
“A credit transaction from 3rd May isn’t visible in the monzo app for my linked first direct account.
Here’s a screenshot of my fd app showing the credit.
Here’s the screenshot of the monzo app with no credit.
Can you ask the relevant team to see what’s wrong?
Ta.”
@Carlo1460 the DD wasn’t reversed. It’s all gone through OK but within Monzo’s connected accounts the DD is missing on my FD Visa. Although the balance states nil - which is correct - it looks like I still owe the outstanding balance.
I’ve sent them a screenshot of the visa account and it’s as clear as day. They keep saying “we’ve checked your Monzo account and can’t see anything wrong” They don’t understand it relates to FD. Also I don’t think they understand the Extra product.
I’ve raised a complaint so hopefully someone with a brain will assist.
Up to now I’ve been impressed with Extra. I believe if there’s omissions or entries missing that they should know about it.
Have previous payments shown up, just not this one?
Cancelled Extra this morning but it runs on until the 30th June. So I’ll need to sign up again on 1st July.
I had it in my brain that it would be cancelled and refunded immediately. I guess that’s only for an upgrade.
So I’ve stuck with Plus for now and opened a FlexPlus account for the insurance offerings as they seem better for my needs and cheaper than upgrading to Max family for just the insurance offering.
Yes correct
It’s a nonsense because it shows the balance as nil but the transaction that makes it nil namely the DD or credit repayment isn’t shown.
Beware if you want Monzo Extra for Virgin Money credit card integration! It doesn’t yet exist (there’s a separate thread documenting the progress of it to date)
Thank you! Redeemed
