Hi, Iāve been with Monzo for a few years and have a Flex account with a few savings pots. Why did I have to find out on Threads about the new 1p Challenge?
I also didnāt know about this forum until this morning.
Have you considered sending your customers emails about whatās going on?

Iāve no idea. There is an advert at the top of the homepage in the app for me.
Yeah. I only found it when they sent me an email telling me that my terms and conditions were changing and that forum members had voted on the change.

Monzo do send emails about things from time to time, but not everything. That would be excessive!

@Revels style is curt and to the point, I find.
I also find that itās best from my perspective to not read tone into text - you never know whatās going on the other side of the keyboard.
Itās still there on mine. Maybe you dismissed it some time ago?
My apologies, that was not my intention at all.
Monzo do email about new features, Flex for example got a launch. But this I would say is more of a niche feature, so probably not something they are going to email everyone about.

Yes, I do - both. I have a Flex account.
No. I would have been very interested in it. Never mind - Iām doing it now and will look out for it next year too.
You can still join. Itās there in the app somewhere, Savings perhaps? Canāt remember now exactly but itās discussed in the relevant topic.
I understand you can commence the 1p challenge up to 31.1.2025. My only annoyance is agreeing the amounts in my accounting package without having to enter it every day. Iāve found a work round so that should work hopefully.

Iām Dean, and I am a online shopper. Iām excited to be here on the Monzo forum! I recently signed up for Monzoās perks current account today and am eagerly awaiting its arrival. This month, I plan to set up my savings pots and ISAs.
After more than a decade with Nationwide, I decided it was time for a change. With their rates dropping and a recommendation from my best friend and watching your advertisements too, I believe Monzo will be a better fit for me. Iām looking forward to transferring my entire account to Monzo this year and enjoying the perks, especially those related to outings like cinema trips! 
I canāt wait to engage with all of you and share experiences in the days and weeks ahead.
