Introduce yourself 👋

Well, lets see if Monzo if more forgiving? You have a unique gift of visualisation and in my view it is a tragedy that is has been lost to Starling. Keep going, keep strong. R-

@D-T-O’s contribution also disappeared from this forum, for what it’s worth. But then, I completely agree that Starling handled this very poorly and the community management needs a lot of work which they just don’t seem to want to do.

Would love to see your graphic talents aimed at Monzo to see what you can come up with and the response. :slightly_smiling_face:

Looking forward to this. Love me a mock up.

Do you have a link to any you’ve done for Starling?

It’s a shame the folk over at a Starling have been quick to point the accusing finger at you @D-T-O over recent trolling, as I think you were pretty fair in your praise/constructive criticism:

They seem almost gleeful over it. I find some of the unpleasant ringleaders on that forum make it an extremely unfriendly place to engage. I guess they set the tone and get the forum they deserve.

Hey Richard, I’ve been using Monzo for a while mainly for spending overseas but have this month started to use my current account for all my spending. I like the pots, the ability to track spend easily and budget accordingly.

This is why i love Monzo and will do all I can to help.

I’d love to be involved in testing transfers from Canadian banks. I have accounts at TD and HSBC. I need this to be working and was disappointed when I found I could not easily use Monzo to move even small amounts (uunder $500 from Canadian savings, chequing or credit card accounts.

PS from 1998-2001 I was Microsoft EMEA Finance Industry Manager.

How are you finding the move so far @wesmith104?

Welcome!! :wave:t3:

I’m Jay. I live in West London (West is best!) with my partner and two French Bulldogs; Gizmo and Gadget who have us wrapped around their well moisturised paw pads :rofl:.

I work in product development for a software supplier to the social housing sector. I am a complete social housing geek and can bore many people about the interactions of policies and why certain light fittings indicate what tranche of social housing grant properties got (fun fact it’s true).

I am also a big avgeek. My first few jobs were in banking mostly Treasury financing, so l find banking really interesting.

I liked Monzo but was disappointed with the progress until the big list came along. It’s good to see how things are developing. I am now full Monzo and loving some of the little tweaks, such as seeing DDs in timeline the day before.

Long time lurker, first time poster who has come back to Monzo due to joint accounts which will hopefully provide some much needed transparency over household bills.

Also found in my return that a load of other interesting stuff has happened in my absence and the roadmap looks great, so colour me officially interested.

Look forward to getting to know you guys! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

What were you looking forward to the most from the big list?

Main one for me was the Web Portal. Losing complete access to my account if my phone was unavailable/lost/stolen was something that l struggled with.

Direct Debit handling including another chance on same day was another important to me of value. I know all the arguments about having money ahead of payment date etc etc but sometimes life events happen.

I think the big list is a really important activity to bring parity with what is ‘standard’ offer for current accounts.

Hello everyone! I’m Stefano, I’ve been a Monzo user for almost 2 years and I’m a keen reader here. For some reason I never registered, until this morning when the thread on interests on savings encouraged me to finally join the discussion :raising_hand_man:t2:
