Incorrect Geolocation Identifying

Issue: Monzo app assumed I was in Denmark when purchasing from a cafe in London which has a Danish name.

Details to reproduce: Go to Ole and Steen in London, buy a coffee and see prompt that you’re supposedly in Denmark.

It depends where the merchant has setup to process the transaction data, that is where Monzo pulls it from I believe, not GPS


The above is true. I have markers all over the world and some in the middle of the ocean :sweat_smile:
